A list of hollows
Old Appalachia is riddled with small valleys known as hollows (or hollers), many of which have creeks running through them. The people of the region who survived the Great Wakening renamed their homeland the Hollows. Clementine Geller, a fearless cartographer, included the following list of hollows to visit in her famous travel book, A Wayfarer's Guide to the Hollows.
